Who we are

Orby is a daily planning app and website operated by Mi Assist Studio ("Orby," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect on this website and in the Orby app, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect on this website

• Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you give us and which part of the page you joined from.
• Usage analytics. We use PostHog to understand how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed and buttons clicked. This may include your IP address, browser type, and device information.

Information we collect in the Orby app

• Account information. Your email address and sign-in details when you create an account.
• Your plans and goals. The goals, plans, notes, and captures you create in Orby, stored securely so they sync across your devices.
• Calendar busy times. If you connect your calendar, Orby reads only when you are busy so it can plan around those times. Your event titles and details never leave your device.
• Voice input. If you use voice capture, speech is transcribed on your device. We store the resulting text, not the audio.
• Subscription status. We use RevenueCat to know whether your subscription is active. Payments are processed by Apple or Google. We never see your card number.

How we use information

• To provide and improve Orby, including AI-generated weekly plans.
• To email you about your waitlist spot and the launch, if you joined the waitlist.
• To understand how the product is used so we can make it better.
• To provide support when you contact us.

When Orby generates your weekly plan, the goals and scheduling context you provide are processed by an AI model. We send only what is needed to build your plan, and this data is not used to train third-party models.

What we never do

• We never sell your personal information.
• We never read your calendar event titles or details from our servers.
• We never send you marketing texts. The waitlist is email only.

Sharing

We share information only with the service providers that run Orby: Supabase (database and authentication), PostHog (analytics), RevenueCat (subscription management), and the AI providers that generate plans. Each processes data on our behalf under their own security commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active or while you are on the waitlist. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us, and we will remove it within 30 days. You can leave the waitlist by replying to any email we send.

Children

Orby is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
